BOOKS

I like to read and really wish that I had more time to do so. I recently started making a list of the books that I have read this year. I got the idea from my mom who has lists of all the books that she has read since 1992. (She averages about 100 a year!)If anyone has suggestions of books that they think that I might like to read, e-mail me with the title and autor.
The first book I read was The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. It was a long book, but I was interested enough to fly through it. I think I even liked it enough to read more in the series. If any one has comments on this book, good or bad, please email me to share.
Two of my favorite authors are Piers Anthony and Anne Rice. I have not read everything by either of them, yet! I plan to eventually. I am also planning on joining the Xanth Thread as soon as I have time. The people on it discuss Piers Anthony's Xanth series in depth and have personalities and talents chosen to represent themselves as a character. Some choose ones from the book while others choose to make up their names and talents. I have figured out that I will be known as Magenta. I would also tell you my talent but I am afraid if it gets out someone will beat me to joining and take it! My interest in Anne Rice and her vampire series seems to be at least a little useful since I can help JP with info for his Vampire: The Masquerade role playing game.

My primary reading interest are fantasy/fiction, but sometimes I will pick up a mystery, romance, or even non-fiction title that looks interesting. I really enjoyed Truman Capote's Answered Prayers and In Cold Blood. I also liked Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians. It depends on the mood I am in.
