Here is how the gear and wheel hubs are made.

First I start with a piece of material and cut it to size on the bandsaw.




Then over at the drill press. I drill a center hole so a arbor can be used to mount the material in the lathe.




Then the material can be turned round.




The OD is first cut.




Then the pinch side is turned to size.




Then the gear hole pattern is marked drilled and tapped.




Then the pinch side is drilled taped and slit.




Then the hub is ready to mount.




This hub was custom made to use on a dyno.




The hub complete with gear.
