Chapter 11:
Zelas groaned as she saw Femni walk into the room. Zelas didnft dislike Femni, and if this were under normal circumstances she wouldnft have minded but it wasnft a normal circumstance. First off, there was Lina and Xelloss, Femni already was looking at Lina curiously and Zelas had no doubt that Lin had told her about Lina and Zelas knew that Femni would get jealous easily. If Femni, and if really wasnft an issue since Zelas was sure Femni would, got jealous, she would hurt Lina and then Luna would be hard to deal with. As much as Luna acted as though she didnft care much about anything, she did care about the sister she had raised almost all on her own. The last thing Zelas wanted was Luna to be mad.
Zelas also regretted allowing Graushelaa and Sheela to come in. She thought it would be neat to have extra hands, and it was already the seventh time in the past half year she had caught Graushelaa trying to sneak into her kitchen and attempt to steal Linfs food. Of course Linfs food was the best in the world but stillc.
"Femni-san, why hello!" Filia happily greeted the former mazoku. To Filia any one that betrayed the mazoku was someone good. Val stood up and bowed(Filia had taken extra practice in trying to raise him to be a polite gentleman.) Rou walked over and greeted her on his own. Lina, Gaury and Amelia started devauring the food while Sheera sent Lina glances that could kill. Graushelaa introduced himself to Luna, and to leave out details it wasnft exactly the best meeting. Xelloss just continued to glare at Femni.
"Zelas, is that the person Xel-kun didnft want to meet that Lin met the other day?" Luna tugged on Zelasfs sleeve and whispered to her. Zelas just nodded gravely.
"Youfve heard of the name of Femni, or at least with your rank I hope you have." Zelas whispered back. Luna gave a low whistle.
"So ethatfsf the strategist Femni. Doesnft look like what I thought. But why does Xel-kun not like her? She seems rather pleasant."
"cc..Ifll explain later." After Zelas finished saying that they saw Femni go introduce herself to Lina.

"I am pleased to finally meet you miss Lina. You are certainly very famous." Femni extended her hand for a handshake. "Added to the fact that you are the Cefied Knights one and only sister and the only emeref human that Xel doesnft wish to kill."
Lina blinked as she felt the eedgef in Femnifs soft voice. This Femni obviously disliked her just like Sheela did. Lina really had no clue what she did though to offend the two mazoku girls.
Femni could feel it. Lina Inverse had never truly seen the mazoku Xelloss. Oh, Femni could tell Lina got a few glances of it but never to the extent where he was ruthless and cared about absolutely nothing. He was purposely hiding it from her.
That was fine with her, she knew that humans were too fragile to be able to withstand a full power mazoku. Though Femni did not understand why Xelloss had chosen Lina as the one he would want to spend time with. Than again though, there really werenft many female mazoku that would measure up to Xellossfs standards and Lina was an exceptional human. Yes, it was perfectly reasonable. She had not seen Xelloss for more than five hundred years and so it was no surprise he would have found another one. Besides, she could wait another hundred to two hundred years until Lina Inverse died of age. Femni just smiled sweetly at Lina as she masked her jealousy.
Xelloss could feel the tension between the two growing and sighed inwardly. Generally speaking Femni was good-natured and normally rather pleasant to be around but there were times when jealousy got the better of her.
With her exceptional brains she had one the position of Deep Seafs favorite among Deep Seafs servants and was treated by all other mazoku the same way they treated the five sub-ordinates. That was what formed her cunning side. She would not allow any competition and would do anything to secure her own position. Which brought about her excommunication from the mazoku.
Sea General, Fin. Originally a human that was killed by her own mother and later revived as the general to Deep Sea. Fin quickly became Deep Seafs new favorite and Femnifs status went way down. Seeing this Femni plotted to kill Fin, which was stopped by Deep Sea and after that Femni was stripped her rank of the highest ranked strategist with in the mazoku. And later, Deep Sea tricked Femni and had her nearly destroyed by her Priest.
Xelloss didnft know for sure but he was fairly certain that Femni was thinking the exact same thing she was when Fin arrived at Deep Seafs castle. Eliminate competition as quickly as possible.
"Lina-san, would you like to come see my room?" Xelloss asked cheerfully, trying to hide his worry inside. Lina thought about it for a second and than nodded. Xelloss smiled and got up. As the two left the room he sent a glance that could kill if he had not restrained himself towards Femni.
Femni just smiled as if nothing out of the ordinary happened and waved to him. Xelloss scowled but than turned his full attention to Lina. He had been lucky enough to take her away from Femni before Femni had started to play games with Lina. He did credit Lina for being intelligent but if Femni wished to she could easily outsmart Lina.
Right now Xellossfs main concern was to keep Lina and Femni apart from each other. Just for the safety of Lina and the world.
They reached the doors to Xellossfs room and Lina just stared as she saw the weird looking locks(or at least things that resembled locks in one way or another) and the weird gadgets. "What are these things."
"Just means of prevention from intruders." Xelloss replied with a smile. With a few quick moves he unlocked everything. "Go ahead Lina-san. Nothing thatfs already in there would bite you." Lina looked suspiciously at him but all she saw was that smile that was pasted on his face. Lina sighed and carefully took a step into the room. She wasnft immediately electrocuted and that calmed her down a little.
"cwellc" It was the only word she could think up of. It was just a plain ordinary room. A bed, a closet, a desk, a few more bookshelves than a normal bed room, but still the same as an ordinary bed room. She was actually surprised by it to tell the truth.
"Do you not like it?"
"cno, itfs just, you knowcitfsc.a room." It was the only word that fit the way the room was. That was it, it was a room.
"Thatfs what itfs suppose to be Lina-san." Xelloss chuckled at her reaction. She was obviously surprised at how ordinary the room was. He was fully enjoying her bewildered reactions.
"Xellosscitfs a nice roomc" Lina said as she leaned against one of the bookshelves and the wall moved. "N?" Lina wondered as the wall rotated a hundred eighty degrees.
Xelloss sighed and moved the revolving wall to the other side of it. He was hoping to have a little more fun while Lina was taken aback but it didnft seem like it was going to work now.
Lina stared at the forest that was stretched out in front of her. It was a forest no doubt with all the trees and bushes. Lina stood up from the ground and brushed the dirt off her dress. She looked around and wondered what had happened.
"I guess you found the other room." Xelloss said from behind her with a sigh. "I hoped to not tell you until later."
"This is your room?" Lina asked as she pointed to the forest. "This is more of what I expected." She nodded her head as if she had just decided on an important issue. "Well, itfs certainly a nice place."
"Ifm glad you like it Lina-san." Xelloss smiled down at her. Humans like Lina were rare to come across with and usually fleeted before you had a chance to catch them. Xelloss wished no one to take the one that he had caught, even if it were for a fleeting moment.

Filia hid behind the corner of the hall way. She felt it her duty to keep a close eye on the mazoku, since there was no guarantee what he would do to Lina. Valgarv and Rou sat next to her and sighed in acceptance that this was what they were probably going to get stuck doing until dinner was served. Both were thinking the same thing. They should have stayed home with Jiras and Grabos.
"Val, Rou please keep an eye out in case someone comes. Oooh, I hope Lina-san is safe." Filia whispered while she had her mace in her hand. "I donft know what may possibly happen to her with that namagomi, oh Lina-san."
"cc..drama queen." Val whispered. Filiafs ears didnft miss that and she turned around to Val with an evil look on her face.
"Drama Queen? Val what did you just call me?!" Filia moved her hands into the position to change into a dragon. "Haaaaaaaaa"
"Hold it, hold it." A woman with silver hair and purple and black highlights picked Filia up by the wrists. Filia blinked as she wondered who in the world this woman was.
"Um, excuse me butc."
"Itfs Zelas Filia." Luna replied as she appeared behind Zelas. "This" She said as she crooked her thumb towards her best friend. "Right here loves to switch forms."
"Luna-chan youfre mean! Is that a way to treat your best friend?" Zelas pretended to act hurt but soon turned back to Filia with a slightly scary smile. "Ifd like it if you donft go around destroying my house you know." Filia blushed at Zelasfs comment and Zelas laughed out loud. "Lina-chanfs safe since if Xel does anything to her hefd hear from me."
That surprised Filia. She hadnft expected Zelas Metalium to have much of a compassion. As if reading Filiafs mind Zelas laughed.
"Lina-chanfs interesting and I enjoy her, besides I know how scary Luna is." Zelas turned around and smiled at her friend who had a smirk on her face. "By the way, rather than sitting around here want to have tea with us? Graushelaa, Sheela, Femni, and Lin are all going to be there. And besides, youfre going to go bored out of your mind if you continue sitting here. Xelfs room is sound proof and even if you attempt to go in there youfll just be electrocuted. So why not join us?"
Rou and Val agreed in a second since they were already bored out of their minds and Filia didnft want to be alone since she was in eenemyf territory she agreed to join them. She ended up clinging to Luna the whole afternoon and Luna ended up blasting her since she was so annoying.

Meanwhile in the library Zelgadiss was devouring all the books in it. So far he actually found a few books that listed ways of possibly making his body normal again. If anything the Beast Masters library was extensive. Not only did she have books from all over their world but she also had books from different worlds. Some of them were really quite interesting, such as The Tale of Genjic or The Great Gatsbyc.
"AAAAA!! NOOOOO KENSHIN-SAN DONfT TURN BATTOUSAI!!!!!!!!!!!!(cRurouni Kenshin)" Amelia screamed as she read one of the emangafsf she found in Beast Masterfs library. "You canft go to the side of evil come baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!" Amelia screamed again. Needless to say Zelgadiss was getting quite annoyed.
Scattered around Amelia were various emangafsf such as Sorcerer Hunters(cAkahori Satoru), Yuu Yuu Hakusho(c Togashi Yoshihiro) Rurouni Kenshin(cWatsuki Nobuhiro), Houshin Engi(c Ryuu Fujisaki), Sailor Moon(cTakeuchi Naoko). Out of all of those Sailor Moon seemed to be Ameliafs favorite and she started to practice the different poses of the Sailor Scouts.c.
Zelgadiss sighed, it was going to be a long day.
