Only Grey

Your silence, speaks volumes,
of my inventions, gone awry.
Your absence, wreaks havoc,
in some chaotic lullabye.

Praying for indifference,
like the trees, to bend, to sway.
Longing for sweet apathy,
no black nor white. Only grey.

Slowly slipping off my radar screen,
I'm giving up, once more shunned.
Leaving me to wonder,
dear God, what have I done?
