TAKE ME WHICH WAY YOU WANT ME

By Lawrence Langman

I try to find the answers, somewhere in my mind.
I look into your eyes girl, and what do I find?
I've got this feeling coming over me,
So give me the loving, the loving I need.
Woke up this morning with stars in my eyes.
Seen you in the corner, now why do you cry?
Sometimes girl I just don't understand you.
One minute you love me, the other we're through.
So take me which way you want me,
Or leave me alone to be free.
Cause I'm not your prisoner baby,
Please love me or set me free.

Alone at night, I hold you close within my arms.
Another day is dawning baby, I long for all your charms.
So keep the faith believing, that our love is all we have.
A love like ours is hard to find.
We've walked the barren paths.
A lonely night ahead of me, for you're so far away.
You're lying right beside me, without a word to say.
Our bodies touch together, but the fire's not burning.
I hope tomorrow morning, you're still in love with me.
So take me which way you want me,
Or leave me alone to be free.
Cause I'm not your prisoner baby,
Please love me or set me free...
Please love me or set me free.

There's something in your eyes says you're the one for me.
I'll hold you in my arms baby, as long as there is eternity.
The morning calls upon me like the wolves cry to the moon.
Your eyes say it all, baby, the light in the tunnel soon.
So take me which way you want me,
Or leave me alone to be free.
Cause I'm not your prisoner baby,
Please love me or set me free...
Please love me or set me free...
Please love me or set me free.

FIRE IN THE NIGHT

By Lawrence Langman

I've seen a singer in the summer sun.
The night is calling and the work is done.
I feel the rain rolling down my face.
I'm looking for some sweet embrace.

The morning come, now it's time to go.
You tell that you love her so.
You kiss her so she feels alright.
Then disappear into the morning light.

I've seen fire in the night.
Shadows dancing by the fire light.
You grab your baby and hold her tight.
Sends your body on an endless flight.

The day has ended, your night is through.
You tell her that you've missed her too.
You pull her closer and hold her tight.
Sends their body on an endless love tonight.

HEAVEN SENT
By Lawrence Langman

If I saw your face a thousand times,
Would our love be true?
If I kissed your lips a thousand more,
Would you love me too?

I've dreamt of nights of passion,
As loneliness swept by.
In search of only heaven,
But in my dreams that's where they lie.

I knew a girl so very blonde,
Her looks could light your day.
But the love I had for her,
Seemed so far away.

Sunlight in the heavens,
And moonlight in the skies.
With the girl I love beside me,
Is the girl I can't pass by.

As I look upon the heavens,
And call her name aloud.
I hear the echoing of the thunder,
And the cheering of the crowd.

If this girl is so right for me,
Where did I go wrong?
Or is this the sign of happiness,
For the rest of the morning long.

Sunlight in the heavens,
And moonlight in the skies.
If dreams were meant to come true,
Then why in the world can't mine?

I'll play Romeo and you play Juliet.
But instead of a final ending,
Let the morning find us yet.

I'll hold you in my arms,
And hold you through those days.
When life has us down,
And things don't go our way.

Will take the good times,
And the bad times,
And make them all work out.
Cause in the final ending,
That's what life is all about.
