Our office specializes in trademark and patent registration. The following are the documents and fees required for the registration process. Such a long and complicated process may take between 6 to 12 month to finish.
Required Documents
Requirements for registering TMPD in Syria
:
- An authorization (power of attorney) to our office for following up all related procedures at the Ministry of Supply and Home Trades (where the registration application is filed). This authorization must have the seal of the company and the signature of its director and it has to be notarized from the Chamber of Commerce in your country. A printed form is available upon request.
- Copy of Each TMPD certificate signed by the industrial property office or the patent office in your country. In case these TM's are not registered in your country you may send their registration certificate from any other country party in the Paris convention. Otherwise, if they are not registered at all, you have to submit an official letter declaring that fact and signed by your company.
- For non-Arab companies only: A signed declaration of 8 items related to Israel boycott, . This declaration needs to notarized from your country's Chamber of Commerce and from the Syrian Embassy in your country. A printed form is available upon request.
- Ten samples of each TM you want to register along with their classes of goods.
