AMOS ZEREOUE FOR HEISMAN

The long hot summer is finally over and with Autumn in the air, it is time for one thing, FOOTBALL!!! The rolling hills of West Virginia have been echoing for a couple of weeks now with the chants of Let's Go Mountaineers, and people all across the state are caught up in Mountaineer "Magic." The magic this year is due to a little guy who stands only about 5'8 in height, but to the people of West Virginia could be 10 feet tall. Amos Zereoue is the man that every fan loves to watch play and who every defense must key on if they want to win. He can catch, he can block, and yes he can run. Amos can run by you, around you, and even through you if that's what you want.

Only a Junior, Amos broke the all time WVU rushing record in the first game of this season. Many more records will fall as Amos runs. The season did not get started the way the WVU team and fans hoped it would. Ohio State played a great game and showed why they were number one. There are many games left to play and the Heisman is wide open. The next few weeks will show who are contenders and pretenders. Mr. Zereoue, my friends, is a Contender. He will lead a balanced WVU offense and will do everything he is asked to do. The goals of the season are still obtainable for this Mountaineer team and with those team goals come the individual awards. Let's Goooo Mountaineers and Amos, we love ya!!
