MICHAEL SHANKS.

Michael Shanks was born on December 15, 1970 and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. Acting was something he always wanted to do. And has been doing it since he was about five years old on a very amateur basis, mostly through school and community theater. A high school teacher made him pursue it, and he was grateful to her for that. Hard work, determination would would do the rest.
When young Michael Shanks went to Vancouver to pursue a business degree. The first celebrity he spotted was Richard Dean Anderson, on location for an episode of MacGyver. He watched Richard work for a while, and he got very excited about the possibilities of becoming a professional actor. Thirteen years later, Shanks stars opposite Richard in Stargate SG-1. needless to say business school is a distant memory. He has not looked back since.

AMANDA TAPPING.

Amanda Tapping was born in England, and moved to Toronto, Canada, where she grew up. Tapping was aware early on of the possibilities of a career in the dramatic arts. she always wanted to be an actress. In high school, she won the Dramatic Arts Award and the Environmental Science Award .Her parents wanted her to go into science. She has three brothers the eldest is a biochemist. Amanda was accepted into the University Dramatic Art in Windsor, Ontario, this was for four years. Then a further four years studying theatre and stage productions. Theatre remains Tapping's "first love," Getting the role on Stargate SG-1 was not an overnight thing. It has been eight to 10 years of plugging away and slowly building up her name. In order to have solid grasp on Carter's military side,she talked to people in the know S.E.A.L.S. also to gun experts.

Don S. Davis

Don S. Davis was born in 1942 in the Ozark Mountains, Missouri. Didn't really have a television until about the time he went to high school, he prefered athletics. He was the youngest of four children. He studied theater in college. And then went on to serve for 3 years in the US army.
He taught theater in his old University. And says he owes his acting career to a break Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Greenburg gave him. they hired him him for a MacGyver episode. Since then he has been in countless movies and TV shows. Stargate being his most notable performance Besides from acting Don loves to paint does sculpture, and is well known for his wood carving. Don is married to Sandy and has a son.

Christopher Judge

Christopher Judge was born in LA. . during his school years he was an athlete. but acting was his first love. He went to the University or Oregon earning his degree in telecommunications and film. He had a choice now of acting or an athletic career he like the impression actor's made on people. Although Christopher was serious about acting he did go into football and was a three time All American who played in the Hula Bowl during his senior year. Before his big break he was a DJ in Oregon. He went for an audition for Bird on a Wire this was the start. His biggest role to date is Stargate as the Character Teal'c.
