" Vic " as commonly called by his fellow scouters is the active and
dynamic Council Scout Executive of Agusan Council . He started his
involvement in scouting since he was still in his younger years . He
got the Eagle Scout Award , which is the highest Scout Award on 1958
during his high school . Then he attended the 10th World Jamboree in
Makiling , Laguna where from there on his involment with the scouting
movement became concrete especially after he attended the basic
training for scouters.
He was first assigned as Field Scout Executive in Misamis Oriental
Council . Then later on became a full pledge Council Scout Executive
still on the same council . CSE Serrano was then re-assigned to help
and create the Camiguin Council .
Then on 1974 , with the special request of Butuan City Government and
Agusan del Norte Provincial Government , CSE Serrano was transffered
to his home council , Agusan Council . From then on up to the present
Vic Serrano is the man behind scouting in Butuan City and Agusan del
Norte . Agusan Council is being reconized as One of the Top Preformers
Council in Eastern Mindanao Region and in whole country , thanks to
CSE Serrano .
For his various achivements in scouting , CSE Serrano was recently
awarded as one of the TEN Outstanding Scout Executive during the
BSP Diamond Jubillee Celebration . He also recieved the BSP Loyalty
Award for 30 years and up as a professional scouter .
We can expect more achievents for Agusan Council in the near future
with the able leadership of our very own CSE Vic Serrano .
