Welcome to yet another Cats RPG. I finally gave in.
I hate being unoriginal, so this RPG is going to be a little different from all of the others. *evil Macavity laugh*
Ahem.
The Jellicles are preparing for the Jellicle Ball. They do all of the normal pre-Ball activities (preparing, choosing dates, getting pretty new collars, whatever). Finally, they go to the Ball.
That sounds like every other RPG, doesn't it? This is where it gets interesting.
A lot of RPGs have long breaks where no one posts, either because they have nothing to say or it is impossible to keep the plot interesting.
This is going to sound scary, but it should be a lot of fun.
I'll be the narrator. Every so often, I'll summarize the action. If three days go by without a post (a good one), the narrator will throw in a plot twist. (I suggest you don't plan your posts too far in advance!) I might even add a twist while people are still posting, just to make things interesting. (Learn to adapt!) If there is a plotline you really want to follow and you aren't able to post, let me know, and I'll make sure we can continue it or come back to it.
WARNING: As the narrator, I have the right to use any characters in my posts.
If something very odd (or downright stupid) is going on, don't be surprised if you suddenly receive a post like this:
"All of a sudden Mistoffelees sent a flash of light toward (name of offending cat). When the smoke cleared, everything was back to normal, and no one had any memory of any strange happenings."
Don't let this frighten you. It just means you can't kill off any cats or get too far out of character. I very seriously doubt that Tugger would suddenly decide that it's time to settle down...with Jennyanydots.
Just stay in character, don't kill anyone, and keep it "kitten-friendly." If I don't like what's going on, I'll find some way of fixing it. You might not like my method, so it would be safer if you just followed the rules.

If you want to play an original character, email me with your name, description, and entrance. (Did you stumble upon the Jellicles, do you need them to rescue you from Macavity or pollicles? If you are a kitten with Jellicle parents, check with both parents first.)
Created characters will be added by the narrator as plot twists. (I'll email you before I introduce your character.) First come, first served!

I was wrong. One more rule! If you don't post at least once every two weeks, you will lose your character. If the character you want is taken and you aren't going to roleplay with another, email me anyway and I'll put you on that character's waiting list. No matter what, each player may only have one character from the musical and one created character. (Too many characters just gets confusing.)
