  • Humans who do not know how to train their dog
  • Horses and mules
  • Humans who are not watching where they are driving
  • Wild animals with rabies
  • Humans who leave their dog in a car when outside temperatures are 70 degrees or more
  • Poisonous amphibians, reptiles and insects
  • Humans who when driving allow their dog to hang out the window or ride in the back of a truck
  • Bears, wolves, coyotes, foxes, porcupines, badgers, wolverines, elk, moose, deer and other such wild animals
  • Humans who are drunk or on drugs
  • Humans who are angry at their dog
  • Humans who do not properly care for their dog
  • Humans who jog, skate or bicycle with dogs that should not be run continuously or do not keep their dogs leashed.

(In other words, dogs may be our best friends, but humans are not always theirs)
