1.*** HOW DOES A CUSTOMER PLACE AN ORDER FOR ASSEMBLY? Once furniture is in the home or office, call (650)992-3537. Customer service hours are Monday through Sunday, 8:30a.m. to 9p.m.(PST).For a price quote. Have the model numbers and/or sku available, make of furniture, and were you purchased the furniture.
2.*** HOW DOES A STORE PLACE AN ORDER FOR DISPLAY ASSEMBLY? Call the phone number listed above. Please have the manufacturer's name and model number and/or sku available when calling. Please provide a preferred date for assembly.
3.*** IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER FOR ASSEMBLY? Yes, There is a minimum assembly fee of $50.00.
4.*** ARE THERE ANY OTHER CHARGES? There is no travel charge if a customer is located within 30 miles of an assembler. Locations beyond 30 miles will be charged a $25.00 travel fee. Customers are informed whether travel charges apply when the order is placed. Parking fees my be applied in some areas.
5.*** WHEN CAN A CUSTOMER HAVE ASSEMBLY DONE? Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.(PST). 6.*** CAN A CUSTOMER REQUEST A SPECIFIC APPOINTMENT TIME? Yes, A morning or afternoon preference will be noted when the order is taken. Appointments are generally completed within a 24 to 72-hour window depending on the availability of assemblers and the number of orders in any given area.
7.*** WHO SHOULD THE CUSTOMER CALL TO CHANGE OR CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT? Customer should call dispatch at (650)992-3537 at least 24 hours before scheduled appointment. NOTE: Assemblers will only wait 10 minutes on site.
8.*** HOW LONG WILL THE ASSEMBLY TAKE? Assembly times vary depending upon the number and size of the pieces. We cannot commit to specific time requirements. Generally, items take from 1 to 3 hours per piece depending upon the size and complexity of the item.
9.)How do I pay for my assembly? The technician will accept your payment immediately after the service is completed. You can pay cash, personal check, business check, money order and cashier checks. Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards at this time.
10.)What if there are missing or damaged pieces? The technician will assist you in ordering any pieces directly from the manufacturer. The pieces will be sent directly to you at no additional charge. When the piece(s) arrive, call us to schedule a revisit appointment.
11.)What kind of warranty do I get? First Choice offers a 30-day warranty on workmanship from the day of assembly. This is completely separate from the warranty from the manufacturer provides on the item itself. Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse such as putting too much weight on the item or improperly moving the item.
12.)Will the assembler move the furniture? If you are having the items delivered we ask that you please have the items delivered directly to the room in which it will be assembled. It is the customers responsible for having the item placed in the room where it is to be assembled before the representative arrives. The technician will position the item within the room to your satisfaction once assembly is complete.
13.)Will the assembler remove the empty boxes and packing material? Unfortunately, the technician cannot take the garbage with them.
14.)How long will my assembly take? Assembly time will vary due to the complexity and size of the item. Generally our technicians can assemble most single pieces in 1-3 hours.
