Kids have begun their summer holidays also here, from this week on, thus some people have already left the city. I have to wait till August, but today " thanks God it's Friday": I'm going to the Lakes, near the Swiss border, and I hope a sunny week-end is coming (both here and in Cape Cod; enjoy your sailing). I wish a nice week-end to all Friends. Bye. Paola |

However we can still fight so that our Europe will remain European and be free. --- Dear Lil, I do not know well in what a Sunfish is different from a Sailfish; maybe the rudder could be adapted, whilst the centerboard is more difficult to; the price of the necessary hardware you have forecast is high, could'nt you make a spare parts swap with the owner of an old Sailfish to be restored? As for the name of the boat, it's difficult to give you a precise tip without knowing something about your "roots": the name should give an emotion, or remind fine memories, distinguishing immediately the boat and her owner from the others. A name fit for me could sound too Italian (or too German) for you. If nothing pops into your mind, an alternative could be asking the visitors of this Guestbook which name they'd give to the Sunfish would she be their, and then choosing your favourite. Best regards to all. Paola |

Glad you enjoyed "The Cape" site.If you get a chance check out the camcorder at the Sagamore Bridge,I live very close to their. The Tall ships will be coming through the Canal, some of the masts will come very close to the underside of the bridge!! Having some set backs with the sunfish project(still haven't thought of any names yet, what say you,Paola?) Need new rudder and centerboard, existing set belong to a"sailfish" boat. Aparently they aren't interchangable. Also, sheets are for a sailfish, too. They are dry-rotted and no good.Looking at about $700-900 worth of hardware. I may be able to pick up a used vessel, complete, for less than that. Waiting off to fiberglass once again. The wind in my hair will surely feel nice when I finally get on the water. Will think of you guys!!--Lil |

Finally I know where you live: a lovely place indeed, I was there 8 years ago during a two-week trip to New England. I am glad for you that the weather is fine today; if you can, take your boat and go sailing, thinking of your friends (so that they can feel the wind on the face, through you). Has anything popped into your mind as for the name of the Sunfish ? (I guess it could sound French, n'est-ce pas?) I, too, am interested to see what the EU countries are going to decide at the Feira summit, particularly about the sanctions against Austria; with reference to that, in the today issue of the Financial Times there is an article and a letter written by the leader of the Danish Liberal Party, that - with the exception of an opinion on FPOe - I'd fully subscribe to. If you can read a little German, you can find other comments on the websites www.yahoo.de, www.ORF.at, ww.Kurier.at (and many other newspapers and magazines you can reach via the link "Links zu Medien" of the FPOe website). Have a nice day. Tschuess. Paola |

Naming a boat is a very personal thing: I have proposed you to find a name that reminds your/our roots, assuming that you, or your parents, are actually from Europe (I am not sure and in any case I do not know from where). As an example, you could choose the name for the Sunfish among geographic names, titles of famous books or songs, artists' names, indication of historical events etc. having a connection with your "Vaterland": unless I get more information, a name which is meaningful for me could on the contrary have no particular sense for you. Since John knows you better, he can give you better tips. Mailand - where I live - is the German translation of Milano, the main city in Lombardy (Northern Italy). For my holidays, I have to wait until August; in the meantime, I can only escape from the city during the week-ends. Best regards to all. Paola |

Very few of you will be aware of the fact that in the Netherlands a new political party, the NNP -Nieuwe Nationale Partij- is slowly bursting out of the egg, and starts getting momentum. As the NNP is a Nationalist party, her first aim is to protect the Dutch culture, language, sovereignty and not to forget its own unique Dutch identity. Seen in a wider context, also the cooperation with other Democratic Rightwing Nationalist parties or groupings in Europe, to help develop and protect a Europe in which the identity and culture of every European Nation is guaranteed. The articles you placed do exactly reflect the situation in the Netherlands at present. But resistence against this unbelievable Govt. policy is growing. The "battle" against them will be very hard because the present "rulers" are backed up by their friends who do control most of press and media. But even in this hopeless looking situation, where the clock shows 1 minute to 12 you have to start somewhere. summer the free men -- mostly farmers -- when armed, called hoplites -- of the Greek
city-states would be called out to do battle. Rarely trained, they followed a very
simple battle strategy. They stood shoulder to shoulder, rank upon rank, and
pushed toward the enemy. Every man counted on every other man to do his duty.
To fight. To die. But never to run. Being a notorious wanderer myself, I close without further comment or ado

I have read recently some interesting contributions to the FPOe Gaestebuch: thank you for writing. As the Hawk wrote, I agree that the Austrian culture and way of life is to be considered an example to be followed. In Northern Italy - where I live - many people feel closer to Wien than to Rome or Brussels, and think that the EU should be based on the reciprocal respect of our different Laender (the theory of "der kleiner Heimat"), not on the cultural and political homologation of all member States. Probably, the same happens also in your home countries; our governments should keep that in mind. Best regards to all. |

The literal medical meaning is when an unborn foetus dies before birth and is not therefore carried to term, ie. one meaning of miscarrage in English. Literally, the word that an English person (maybe an American too?) in a similar situation would have used is 'abortion' as Paola pointed out. PS - Sorry to be a know-all...it's just that my wife was midwife for over 30 years. Say 'good dog' to Rommel and give him a 'boney' or whatever its called in America from me for his patriotic work on the 'census' man. |

Simon Bennett took 21% in Burnley. Simon Darby took 16% in Dudley. London vote quadrupled...last years 18,000 soared to nearly 80,000 for Mike Newland. BNP retained £5,000 deposit. Our party list vote averaged more than 7.1% over the whole of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking & Dagenham. 12% of white East Enders backed the BNP. BNP support in Ealing & Hillingdon (W London), Bexley & Dartford (SE London) and Redbridge & Havering (Essex borders) equalled or topped the party's best votes in Tower Hamlets in the 1992 general election. A higher proportion of white Londoners voted BNP than backed the old National Front at its electoral peak in 1977.

Name: John Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Paris Time: 2000-05-08 18:23:22 Comments: To all Friends, Enclosed is an exact copy of an electronic letter from the Leader of the British National Party. This letter explains why I could not provide much election news, from the BNP's point of view...because the British media put a news blackout on anything positive to do with the BNP. As you know I was hoping for better results but here Mr. Griffin explains how relatively speaking, ie. compared to previous voting in London, these results show that the BNP is still making good progress. The pro-establishment media have avoided making any positive statement about the BNP. Still, clearly the major breakthrough lies ahead and much effort is still needed from BNP's supporters so that this party quickly reaches 'critical mass'. I will always try to keep you posted of any BNP news from my country of birth. Best regards -- John PS - The £5000 deposit is a requirement in the UK to stop meaningless attempts at political campaigning for unserious reasons.

Name: John Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Paris Time: 2000-05-05 16:58:06 Comments: Mayor of London ElectionThis election has turned out not so well as I was hoping. Most probably one reason for the low result of 2% (I was hoping for 5% or better) is that the election turned into a show of dissatisfaction for the present Labour government. Mr. Blair decided that Ken Livingstone was not suitable for the Labour party's support and changed support for another candidate Mr Dobson. The London population did not like this horse trading and what with media sensationalism they gave their support for the 'underdog' who then won. Please note that the BNP never expected to win, only to increase its share of the vote. As soon as I get a reaction or analysis from the BNP I will post it here. Best regards -- John |

Dear John, I've just read your "older thoughts" about the Pavlov affect. One thing though, In France Mitteran trained the population "not to work" drop by drop, year after year for. It penetrated so well into the French genes that the new populations are actually "born with it". Not only that,,,,It is definitely contaminating since the rest of Europe caught it (see today's news about the German strike). Do you think that all we know as good old science & logic is being transformed ? Have a nice blob, Daphne' |

Name: The Hawk Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Holland Time: 2000-05-05 13:56:26 Comments: DEAR DAPHNE. How could we misunderstood each other in such a way, as our way of thinking is almost the same on all frequencys? Let me explain Daphne. In your posting about Africa (Record22) you stated, and I quote [Are we good or bad??? Should we exhange populations and let the third world starve?]I thought you meant the following: We Europeans leave Europe and we all go to Africa, accepting Africa as our new Fatherland. And... at the same time all Africans have to leave Africa and take Europe as their new land. And seen in that context I concluded, [that this definitely will lead to Europe going under in a sea of corruption and poverty, and the African continent run by its new inhabitants (we Europeans)growing up to new economic world power status. Daphne the point were we misunderstood, is solved now??? The points you made, concerning Africa are correct. Kind regards, HENK. |
Name: Daphne Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Common sense space Time: 2000-05-05 07:09:45 Comments: Dear Hank, You misunderstood my point. Africa will not become a leading economical or anything else power. You just have to follow the history of the countries led by they own people for the last 50-100 years. There, one man takes power together with all the country's funds. The power he keeps in Africa and the country's funds are going directly to his private bank account in Switzerland (John is keeping and eye on things there ?). In Europe the problem is much much grater. It is common knowledge that germs attack mostly the week. Europe's weakness is the one which is killing it. If you look at Europe's history, the ones who were daring went and built a new world: The USA and their descendants continued this tradition by following the innovation road. Now they are leading in everything (the good and the bad) and have the future in hand. Europe is left with nothing but a geriatric system which needs a new blood flow, but all the imaginative young people that we have here are running out to the place in which the system is better suitable for them - Free and New. I suggest you to read in the TIME magazine this week the article "Left behind, Europe's Labor Force....". A few weeks ago there were other articles in all the news papers and magazines regarding the fact that Europe is left behind in every aspect of the modern life. [and loosing its future as a result of it]. We need a major surgery here. Austria's determination together with a very decisive plane on modernization to step into the future. Hope I didn't disperse everybody too much, Have a nice day, Daphne' PS. John, when I wrote this is was nice and with paragraphes. When I submitted it became a big blopp. Can it be sobmitted in a better format |

Name: Paola Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Mailand Time: 2000-05-04 16:36:37 Comments: Dear Henk, unfortunately not only Holland, but almost all European countries are running the risk to be subject to the same flood. Immigration could be an acceptable and, to some extent, positive thing only provided that it were duly regulated by strict statutory provisions; on the contrary, we see that a lot of immigrants come here illegaly and go on behaving illegaly, without the host countries goverrnments having the political aim to enact good laws thereabout, or even to implement correctly the existing ones if any. EU should be much more concerned about that, instead of sanctioning and blaming as racists the (rare) governments and parties which have a different approach. I think that our best weapon now is to support and vote - in our respective countries - the parties which include the immigration issue, and the fight against crime, as a priority in their program. |

Regarding your "population-swop", very interesting, but am I correct by stating that this definitely will lead to Europe going under in a sea of corruption and poverty, and the African continent run by its new inhabitants growing up to new economic world power status?? John with real grief I want you to know that Holland is not Holland anymore, yes the tulip fields are still there, but there the story ends. In - All the countries which were / are developped by white people - the white are "the bad guys" (they profit from providing livelihood to local people) Are we good or bad ??? Should we exchange populations and let the third world starve? With the funds given to Simbabwe, they could provide a new start up to all their white farmers in our side of the world where they would have been safer. As I originally said, this site is experimental...not only constructing it, but also what sort of response it will get and how it will be used. For the time being I would suggest continuing to use the FPÖ Gästebuch as the main platform for making contact with the world. Up to now I have not set any keywords (they are hidden from view and are used by search engines to find sites). But will do this soon. This will draw people who are looking for the 'keyword' subjects. Recently checking through the terms set by Tripod for these homepage sites -- it is clear that some of the things that may need to be dealt with may, for 'politically correct' reasons, be too explicit, in which case they would 'pull the plug on us'. For this reason I will make back-up copies of everything useful so that I could start up somewhere else with less hassle. One thing is sure I will check the guest book regularly, so it can be used as a public (and private) mailbox to me. Bye for now, best regards -- John |
