Gum Tree Membership Guidelines
Please read the guidelines carefully. You will need to agree to abide by these guidelines in order for you to be accepted as a member of Gum Tree Genealogy Ring.
- To become a member of Gum Tree Genealogy Ring, sites should have a minimum of 50% Genealogy content.
- Sites should belong to Australian Genealogists or have Australian lineage connections.
- We will accept applications from commercial sites, so long as they are Australian or readily accessible in Australia or to Australian users.
- Sites should NOT contain nudity, sex or violence of any sort. Gum Tree Genealogy Ring is family oriented. Any sites containing such items will be excluded from the ring. Sites will be checked regularly - any found to contain
such items will be asked to remove the Gum Tree Genealogy Ring logo from their pages and will be removed from the ring.
- Subscribers must place the Gum Tree Genealogy Ring logo and appropriate code in an appropriate place on their site within 14 days of subscribing. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the ring.
- Use of the Gum Tree Genealogy logo or other custom graphics found in these pages without permission from the Ringmaster is prohibited.
