And    the    best    comedy    actor    is....Alan    Ruck!

Many of you may know Alan Ruck as Cameron on Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Others may know him from his role as Stuart Bondek on Spin City. And other people may know him from all his other 20 films and 4 notable guest appearances on TV. Where ever you have seen him it is perfectly obvious he is a great actor and bound for sucess! Maybe we should start from the begining. Alan was born on July 1, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to the University of Illinois for college and now he is 33, married to Claudia Ruck, has two children, lives in New York, and is one of the best comedy actors up there with Jimmy Stewart! He started acting in high school, and did theatre arts as his major in college. Then he worked on stage in Chicago for five years. Afterwards, he spent nine months on Broadway in "Biloxi Blues." While on Broadway he was found by John Hughes, and he got casted as Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In this movie he plays Ferris Bueller's ( Matthew Broderick ) best friend who is always sick. When Ferris finally convinces him to pick him so they can skip school and go down town Cameron finally loosens up. This movie is hillarious, and it's my friends and my favorite movie! Other movies he was in were Twister, Born to be Wild, Star Treck Generations, Speed, Young Guns 2, and may others! Some of his notable guest star appearanves on TV were on "Mad About You", " The Outer Limits", "Picket Fences", and " The Famous Teddy Z." If you aren't convinced that Alan Ruck is a AWESOME actor yet you need help! Beth Grant as Helen: " Are they going to help us?" Alan Ruck as Stephens: " Sure they are, they're the police. Hey, your taxes are paying their salaries. We die, they gotta take a pay cut." That was a quote from Speed, yet another movie he was in. Now if you are getting tired of reading this or are really pumped up to go see Alan Ruck on screen I'm giving you the chance to get off your computer and go to your local video store now!-By Carrie Johnson if you have any question or comments please e-mail me at : Juliet_32@hotmail.com
