How To Put A Map on Your WWW Site

Note: This requires a working knowlege of HTML.
If your are holding a convention or other special event and want to put a map and driving instructions on your site to tell prospective attendees how to get there, you can put a customized map on your site by following these easy steps:

1. Go to the "WhoWhere? Yellow Pages"
2. Enter the name of the place and the city/state where you are holding the event.
3. Click on "Find".
"WhoWhere?" will then display a list of places that match your search criteria.
If you get a "Not found" message or the desired place is not listed, go back and modify your search information.

4. Click on the link to "map".
"WhoWhere?" will display a map showing the location of your event.

5. Go back to the previous page and copy the link to the map into your HTML code.
Your code should look similar to this:
<A HREF=" -URL of your map- ">Map & Driving instructions</A>

For a demo of how this works, visit the McHenry B'n'B Web site and click on "MAP".
You will see a map showing the location where the McHenry Bachelors'n'Bachelorettes hold their dances AND you will have the option of getting "STEP by STEP - TURN by TURN" driving instructions from your home to the dance.
You may be tempted to down-load the map and put it on your site. There are two reasons why you shouldn't do this:
1. The maps are copyrighted!
2. Visitors to your site won't be able to use the 'Bells & Whistles'.
