Welcome to the website
of radio station KCNT FM 88.1 in Hastings, Nebraska. KCNT broadcasts
to the city of Hastings, as well as parts of Adams and Clay counties, and
its non-commercial broadcasts originate from Central Community College
located just east of Hastings on Highway 6. KCNT broadcasts with
a power output of 1,000 watts in stereo on 88.1 MHz. Hours of operation
during the school year are Monday thru Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and 8
to 12 on Fridays. KCNT is solely operated by broadcasting students
on the Hastings campus. Under the supervision of trained and experienced
broadcasting instructors, the KCNT environment is what you'd see in a real
radio station.
