Obituary of Ellen Nora Snodgrass
Taylorstown --- no further information regarding the newspaper:

Miss Ellen Nora Snodgrass, whose life's span was spent as a resident of Buffalo township, died at her home east of Taylorstown, at 3:45 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 23rd 1928; after an illness of more than two months, in her 56th year. Funeral services at her late home at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with a large concourse of friends in attendance. The burial was in Claysville cemetery. Her pastor, Rev. H.B. Fairman, had charge of the service which was largely attended. He was assisted by Rev. R.B. Harsha, of West Middlesex, former pastor of the family, who delivered the address, and Rev. W.M. Lorimer of Went Alexander, close friend of the family. Burial was in Claysville cemetery.

Miss Snodgrass was a daughter of the late Samuel McCullough and Esther Graham Snodgrass, born March 22 1873, on the McDowell farm, Buffalo Township, from which her parents moved to the Snodgrass home farm in 1875, which has since continued to be the Snodgrass home.

Throughout her home community Miss Snodgrass was known and highly esteemed for her many fine qualities of womanhood and Christian graces. She was a member of Taylorstown United Presbyterian church. She had a deep interest in the affairs of her church. She possessed a genial, kindly disposition, hospitable, a helper of the needy. Both her parents are deceased, the father passing away in June, 1926. She had charge of the home in the declining days of her mother and continued in the performance of those duties while her brother Samuel Snodgrass shared it with her. She leaves one other brother, John G. Snodgrass, of near Taylorstown, and two sisters, Mrs. John C.H. Maxwell, near Buffalo Village, and Mrs. Andrew Kerr of Bremen, Ohio. Miss Snodgrass underwent an operation near two years ago but her health became impaired the past summer and continued to decline until death ensued. She will be missed in her neighbourhood by many persons in whose hearts she was enshrined as a staunch friend.
