1-Edward Sigsworth, baptized on Sept. 27, 1640, at Oswaldkirk, married Eleanor Clark on May 20, 1673, in Sutton on the Forest, Yorkshire Co., England. Edward was a farmer by trade. Their known children, all born in Sutton on the Forest, were as follows (see generation #3)
1-William Sigsworth, b.abt.1677. He married someone unknown and had the following Generation #4 children
2-John Sigsworth, b.abt.1679, no further information is known at this time
3-Anne Sigsworth, b.abt.1691, no further information is known at this time

1-Edward Sigsworth, baptized May 31, 1742, at Sutton on the Forest, married Sarah Bean on May 08, 1767, at Sutton on the Forest. Their known children were 1-Rachel Sigsworth, born abt. 1769; 2-Mary Sigsworth, born abt. 1772; and 3-Sarah Sigsworth, born abt. 1782. All children were born at Sutton on the Forest (LDS christening extract)
2-Christopher Sigsworth, baptized Sept.02, 1750, at Sutton on the Forest. He died at Hovingham, Yorkshire Co., England and was buried on May 01, 1826. He married first on July 06, 1772, in Hovingham to Elizabeth Beeforth (she was buried in Hovingham), and he married second on July 07, 1800, at Hovingham to Mary Smith (witnesses at the wedding were Thomas Jones and William). Christopher was a gardener by trade
