But to the whole world

The Prophets did for tell it
In ages that have passed
The coming of the Christ, the King
Is happening at last.


Though through the passing years 
From the Father's side we've roamed
The Messiah, he is coming 
To bring His people home.


His people will reject him
For they do not see
He wasn't the Messiah
They expected Him to be.


A Child in a manger
Born to be a King
Let the multitude of Angels
Rise to the skies and sing.


He is the promised Messiah
He is coming to redeem
The natural and adopted heirs
The people of a king.
