My Life Lies on the Wings of Time
My life lies on the wings of time
That fly both to and fro,
And when the words come into view
I know where I must go.
And what this flight will bring to me
Only time can know,
And only guidance from one source
Leads me to where I go.
I do not know my destiny
It is known by only one
But I know my life lies with the Lord
Both now and when it's done.
So I leave my life on flying wings
And live my life for Him.
As long as I can stay this way,
His light of life won't dim.
His light will never dim at all;
It will always shine,
But if I do not want His love,
His light will not be mine.
The choice is always mine to have,
And I know within
The choice that I will always make
Will always be with Him.
