Putting off...death

Why have you come back so soon?
I'm expecting my daughter at noon,
Can't you see I have a lot to do?
The laundry...and the rent is due.
Come back on Friday.  I'll try to be 
Done with all that's left for me.

Do I have to go now?  I'm not done.
Sunday, my grandson is going to be one.
I have so much to do from now
