- A separate calendar of activities is distributed each month for residents in
apartments, assisted living and
health care. Apartment
residents are welcome to participate in all activities.
Following is a sample of the regularly scheduled activities.
- Bingo is featured every Friday at 3 p.m. in the health care dining room and every Thursday evening in the game room. Prizes are candy and small gifts.
- Devotions are provided every Monday at 10 a.m. by volunteers from surrounding area churches.
- Bible Study concentrates on one book of the Bible at a time, which is studied chapter-by-chapter. This is a popular Tuesday morning activity.
- Crafts are featured every Thursday afternoon, with all residents encouraged to express their creativity.
- Piano Music by Jim Warman leads up to supper time every Thursday in the health care dining room.
- Armchair Exercise four times a week offers additional opportunities to be active even for those who have limited mobility.
- Pet Pals visit every other Wednesday, courtesy of the Humane Society and volunteers representing Niffer’s Restaurant.
- Sing-along features rousing renditions of favorite songs and hymns. It takes place every Tuesday afternoon in the south living room.
- Other Activities and Trips include weekly shopping trips, weekly field trips, day-long trips to nearby attractions, monthly Friendship Hour, parties celebrating holidays, dominoes, bridge and other games.
