1971

October 17 - Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick is born in Clarion, PA.

1976

August 8 - Joshua Scott Chasez is born in Bowie, MD.

1977

January 28 - Joseph Anthony Fatone is born in Brooklyn, NY.

1979

May 4 - James Lance Bass is born in Laurel, MS.

1981

January 31 - Justin Randall Timberlake is born in Memphis, TN.

1990

Fourteen-year-old JC is chosen to be on MMC which he is on for four years.
JC meets Joey, who is a close friend of an MMC cast member, Jennifer McGill.

1992

Justin appears on Star Search and loses.
Twelve-year-old Justin is chosen to be on MMC which he is on for two years.

1994

MMC is cancelled and Justin and JC both go to Memphis for a while (Justin to be a normal kid and JC to record demos). Justin returns to Orlando to get back into show business.
Lance is singing and dancing in one of the best show choirs in the country in Clinton High School's Attache'.
JC graduates from Bowie High School.

1995

Joey and Chris meet while working at Universal Studios. Chris as a doo wop singer and Joey as a werewolf in the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue.
Chris gets the idea to form an a capella group. He calls Justin who he met at auditions, Justin calls JC who he knows can harmonize well, Chris and JC run into Joey at a club, whom they both know, and Justin calls his vocal coach in Memphis to find a good bass singer, and he recommends Lance. Thus, 'N Sync is formed.
They start putting together demos and practicing in an abandoned warehouse. They perform anywhere they can, including Joey's old high school.
Joey graduates high school.
The guys meet Lou Pearlman, they are signed to Transcon Records and he starts to promote 'N Sync.
October 22 - 'N Sync perform and tape a promotional performance at Pleasure Island.

1996

They are signed to RCA/BMG Germany and take off for a tour of Europe.

1997

'N Sync, the album is released in Europe, "I Want You Back" the first single released by 'N Sync goes gold in about 3 months. They earned the title of the quickest rising single.
Their sold out tours brought them to places such as: the United Kingdom, Mexico, South Africa, Asia, and Germany.

1998

Perform at Charity '98 in Oberhausen, Germany to raise funds for sick children (featured in a #1 single "Children Need a Helping Hand").
April - 'N Sync return to America and release their album; "I Want You Back" is the first single released.
May 31 - 'N Sync participates in Z100's "New York City's 100th Birthday Bash".
July 18 - 'N Sync 'N Concert on the Disney Channel propels 'N Sync to overnight stardom. Their album goes platinum and enters the Billboard charts at #9 where it will steadily rise for several more months. "Tearin' Up My Heart" is the released single at this time.
August 28 - 'N Sync ride on top of a double decker bus for the opening of a Virgin Megastore with Petula Clark and Richard Branson.
October 14 - 'N Sync start opening for Janet Jackson in The Velvet Rope tour, the highlight of the tour was the 'N Sync and Janet a capella duet of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed."
October 23 - 'N Sync perform on The Ricky Lake Show.
November 6 - 'N Sync appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
November 10 - 'N Sync's Christmas Album Home For Christmas is released and quickly joins their debut album on the Billboard top ten.
November 11 - They Win Best Dance Clip and Best New Artist at Billboard Awards.
November 12 - 'N Sync appear in Rolling Stone.
"God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You" is released as a single.
November 17 - 'N Sync kicks off their first headlining tour in the US in Orlando, FL with Britney Spears as their opening act.
'N Sync, Backstreet Boys, and other artists team up to do a charity single entitled "Let The Music Heal Your Soul".
November 26 - Ride on the M&M Float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
December 5 - Disney's "Holiday's In Concert" with 'N Sync, Tatyana Ali, and Shawn Colvin.
December 17 - 'N Sync performs in the "Jingle Ball" at New York's Madison Square Garden.
"Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" is released as a single
December 31 - 'N Sync start the New Years off right in a sold out show in Las Vegas.

1999

January 5 - 'N Sync performs at Universal's Amphitheatre.
January 6 - 'N Sync performs at Teen People's first anniversay party.
January 11 - January - Win Best New Artist at American Music Awards.
'N Sync start their new tour and play almost every night in March, April, and May to sell out crowds with opening acts such as: Tatyana Ali, Sugar Hill Gang, Blaque, Bewitched.
'N Sync get their own day in New Haven, CT.
Chris gets a new dog (Busta).
'N Sync team up with Phil Collins to do a track on the "Tarzan" soundtrack.
May - "I Drive Myself Crazy" is released as a single.
May 2 - 'N Sync get immortalized on a postage stamp.
May 12 - 'N Sync tapes Disney's Summer Jam Concert.
June - 'N Sync collaborates with Gloria Estefan for the single "Music Of My Heart" which will appear on "The Music Of My Heart" soundtrack.
June 15 - Alabama (with back up vocals from 'N Sync) re-record "God Must Have Spent..." and release it on their album 20th Century.
June 19 - 'N Sync perform at Women's World Cup.
August 25 - 'N Sync host a charity basketball game in Atlanta, GA to raise money for children's hospitals.
August 31 - 'N Sync appear on the UPN's L'Oreal's Summer Music Mania
September 6 - Fans get to see JC and Justin back in their mouseketeer days as the Disney Channel airs an 8 hour MMC Marathon.
September 9 - 'N Sync perform "Tearin' Up My Heart" at MTV VMA's with Britney Spears and lose all categories they were nominated in at the Metrpolitan Opera House in New York.
September 11 - 'N Sync's PPV concert from Fort Lauderdale is aired.
'N Sync announces there decision to leave RCA Records in search of more money from the Zomba Records label, Jive(home of the BSB).
BSB announce their decision to sue Jive because they feel deceived by the label.
October 6 - 'N Sync appear on TRL with Gloria Estefan and shut down Times Square.
October 7 - Justin is confirmed to have a role in a TV movie called "Model Behavior", alongside his role in the Transcon Studios Movie "Jack Of All Trades."
October 14 - 'N Sync is handed over a lawsuit for $150 Million dollars by Lou Pearlman, RCA, BMG, and all other connected labels.
October 20 - 'N Sync is announced to be on Rosie O'Donnell's Christmas Album entitled "A Rosie Christmas" due out November 2.
October 22 - Justin creates his own foundation. The Justin Timberlake Foundation provides aid to the fine arts programs in public schools, namely music. He joins a panel of philanthropists (charitable people) at a conference given by the Clintons that helps promote giving.
October 23 - 'N Sync and Gloria Estefan perform "Music of My Heart" at VH1's Concert of the Century.
October 25 - Joey and Chris host TRL.
October 28 - 'N Sync perform "Bye Bye Bye" for the first time on television at the WB Radio Music Awards.
