You need a basic understanding of their view of childhood to understand
the Libertarian Party plans for your child's future. This is found in what
I call the hidden plank of the Libertarian Party platform that was removed
in 1996, the Children's Rights plank. The removal was not that they changed
their minds but only from public outcry. To mollify the public they had
attempted to stealth the plank by rewriting it in such a way that it said
the same thing yet sounded less offensive. Unable to reword the plank to
not sound like it means they simply deleted from the platform, but not
from their hearts. For it was in their hearts that this was created and
nothing has changed that.
CHILDREN'S RIGHTS
Children are human beings and, as such, have all the rights of human beings.
We recognize that children who have not reached maturity need guardians to secure their rights and to aid in the exercise of those rights. We hold that guardianship belongs to those who most love and value the child and his or her development, normally the parents and never the state.
We oppose all laws that empower government officials to seize children and make them "wards of the state" or, by means of child labor laws and compulsory education, to infringe on their freedom to work or learn as they choose. We oppose all legally created or sanctioned discrimination against (or in favor of) children, just as we oppose government discrimination directed at any other artificially defined sub-category of human beings. Specifically we oppose ordinances that outlaw adults-only apartment housing.
We also support the repeal of all laws establishing any category of crimes applicable to children for which adults would not be similarly vulnerable, such as curfew, smoking, and alcoholic beverage laws, and other status offenses. Similarly, we favor the repeal of "stubborn child" laws and laws establishing the category of "persons in need of supervision." We call for an end to the practice in many states of jailing children not accused of any crime. We seek the repeal of all "children's codes" or statutes which abridge due process protections for young people. We further favor the abolition of the juvenile court system, so that juveniles will be held fully responsible for their crimes.
Whenever parents or other guardians are unable or unwilling to care for their children, those guardians have the right to seek other persons who are willing to assume guardianship, and children have the right to seek other guardians who place a higher value on their lives. Accordingly, we oppose all laws that impede these processes, notably those restricting private adoption services or those forcing children to remain in the custody of their parents against their will.
Children should always have the right to establish their maturity by assuming administration and protection of their own rights, ending dependency upon their parents or other guardians and assuming all the responsibilities of adulthood.

As you can see their views regarding children are simple, childhood simply does not exist. This is easier to understand if you first read my little writing on the Libertarian's insistence on the "right" to slavery. To the Libertarians people are only property so it is no wonder childhood does not exist.
So now we will take a tour of a child's world in Libertopia.
First we go to school.
Paragraphs one and three of the Libertarian Party plank on education are central to schooling. Paragraphs two and four deal with their "interim" measures to be enacted until the entire platform can be put into effect. Below are paragraphs one and three.
EDUCATION
We advocate the complete separation of education and State. Government schools lead to the indoctrination of children and interfere with the free choice of individuals. Government ownership, operation, regulation, and subsidy of schools and colleges should be ended. We call for the repeal of the guarantees of tax-funded, government-provided education, which are found in most state constitutions.
We condemn compulsory education laws, which spawn prison-like schools
with many of the problems associated with prisons, and we call for an immediate
repeal of such laws.

The immediate effect is that all children whose parents could not afford private schools would immediately be without an education. The Libertarians try to counter this by saying charity "could", but not WOULD, provide education for these children. Another claim is that almost everybody would be rolling in money in Libertopia. But if you read my writing on their Bonze Age economic system you will doubt that economic forecast.
Another effect is that children of parents that could afford private school would still not be guaranteed an education. This would be do the their repeal of all compulsory education laws. Parents who did not educate their child would be under no obligation to do so.
Education is the base of any advanced civilization. As seen in my text "the Bronze Age Economy" they abhor advanced civilization. Destroying the modern education system is part of reverting back to a primitive state more conductive to anarchy.
So now the children are out of school, how will they spend their days?
Working! The good old sweat shop for children is just part of the paradise the Libertarian Party is bringing to you.
Below is paragraph two of their platform plank on Poverty and Unemployment. This is the paragraph that most affects children.

POVERTY AND UNEMPLOYMENT
We support repeal of all laws that impede the ability of any person to find employment, such as minimum wage laws, so-called "protective" labor legislation for women and children, governmental restrictions on the establishment of private day-care centers, and the National Labor Relations Act. We deplore government-fostered forced retirement, which robs the elderly of the right to work.

By removing all of the "so-called protective labor legislation for women and children" the Libertarians insist children will be free to work wherever they wish. Now we have had times before without such laws. Before such laws children did not work as highly paid or skilled employees but as the most menial animals of labor. Children worked in mines, factories and in agriculture. And like the past the Libertarian future society will have no workplace safety laws, a 60 or 70 hour work week instead of a 40 hour week and no minimum wage. Just part of their great forward march into the darkest hours of mankind's past.
Now what if a child does not want to work in factories, mines or agriculture? Why their is always the lucrative and rewarding life of a prostitute waiting for them in Libertopia.
You doubt me? After all I have shown you about these people? Okay, below is their platform plank of Victimless Crimes.

Because only actions that infringe on the rights of others can properly
be termed crimes, we favor the repeal of all federal, state, and local

We demand the use of executive pardon to free and exonerate all those
presently incarcerated or ever convicted solely for the commission of these
"crimes." We condemn the wholesale confiscation of property prior to conviction
by the state that all too often accompanies police raids, searches, and
prosecutions for victimless crimes.

Their blanket demand for "the repeal of all laws regarding consensual sexual relations" by default includes the age of consent. Child prostitution and pornography are just part of the everyday life of your child's future, at least if these people get their way.
Incidentally child molestation would disappear. This is because currently the Libertarian Party members only consider it molestation if it is forced upon a child. They believe in this so much that convicted child molesters would be released from prison by paragraph eleven. Currently they believe that any child that is seduced is not molested but is exercising their "freedom". If you leave your child with a Libertarian you'd better think twice.
There is no reason for you to be envious of your child's future in. Those lack of labor protection laws also apply to you. So no more overtime, no more workplace safety regulations, no more of any type of protection from a greedy and callous employer.
