Kiona-Benton vs Naches

The Bears have defeated the Rangers in 8 of the last 9 dual meets. The last two meetings between the teams have resulted in Ki-Be dominating. Naches comes into this match with some firepower this year. Shafer, Frazier, Hastings, Rivera, Ferguson and Vantrease should be good wrestlers this year for the Rangers.

The best matchups of the night might be Ryan Burns vs Joe Frazier and Ryan Phipps vs Todd Ferguson. Burns and Frazier are ranked high in the rankings, though Burns is ranked at 135 while Frazier is ranked at 140. Burns may be down to 135 for the match. Ferguson is a state vet, something Phipps wants to accomplish this year. This will be a good early season test for both wrestlers.

Another interesting match will be Zac Clegg vs Jake Stiles. Not much is known about either wrestler, but more will be known after their heavey weight match.

For the Bears to win this dual, Cunningham, Ashley, Gonzalez and Chapin will have to take care of business. Gonzalez will have a good challenge in Hastings, while Rivera could give Chapin a good match. Senior Jeff Slape will need to continue his pinning ways as he did in his first career match.
