(Springdale - Mary Walker Highschool)

I (Zac Carpentar) had the HONOR of coaching our Lady Bears in Ki-Be's first appearance at the girls regional wrestling tournament. Delene and Sheridan are both regional champs!! They both pinned their way through the bracket. Sheridan (135) wrestled a total of about a minute and a half including a 19 second pin in the finals.  

Delene had Armani Emmal of Naches in the finals. She lost to her earlier in the season and was down 2-1 after the first. Early in the second she took her down and then turned her for 3 in a cradle. Leading 6-2 starting the third she took her down turned her for 5, then turned her again for 2. Up 13-2 she put her away with another turn for the pin. 

Several coaches came up to me afterward and talked about how tough our girls looked. A great day and a lot of fun.
