The 4X400 girls relay team left all 2A
teams in the dust as they took home the
state title. They defeated Ridgefield by
just 0.21 seconds. Pullman had the fast
time in the prelims, but came in third on
the final. The team consisted of Natasha
Scott, Janie Thompson, Lacey Lyon and
Lindsey Thompson. McKenzie Burgess had a
personal best in the shot with a throw of
40-2 1/2 to take third place. Lindsey
Thompson has now collected 5 top 8
finishes at state. She finished a
personal best of 5th in the 400 and was a
member of the 4X400 title team. The top finisher
for the boys was Barry Leavitt who placed
9th in the 110 hurdles with a time of
16.6.
