11/4/01
- Bears defeat Grandview for first time
in three meetings this year to win the
CWAC district title.
10/25/01 - Undefeated Grandview, held off
the Bears to win the CWAC South
regular-season title and the No. 1 seed
to districts 15-12, 8-15, 15-4, 15-12.
Grandview rallied from 7-0 deficits in
games 1 and 4 to win both games.

10/22/01 - Nicole Boyer and McKenzie
Burgess led the Bears to a 15-0, 15-1,
15-2 victory over Toppenish. The Bears
have won 18 straight games heading into
their rematch with Grandview, the only
team they have lost to this year.

10/20/01 - McKenzie Burgess had 15 kills
and six digs, Alison Marlin came up with
24 assists and Nicole Boyer added seven
kills as the Bears defeated the East
Valley 15-5, 15-8 to win the East Valley
Invite. The girls were 4-0 in pool play
and defeated White Swan 15-5, 15-2 to
reach the final.
10/18/01 - Mandy Feth (4), Tiebe Harmala
(6) and McKenzie Burgess (7) collected 17
kills as the Bears downed the Rangers
15-0, 15-3, 15-1
10/16/01 - Girls swept Connell 15-2,
15-8, 15-13 to improve to 10-1 in league
play. McKenzie Burgess led the Bears with
15 kills, seven digs and four blocks.
Amanda Phipps had eight kills and Mandy
Feth had seven digs, five aces and four
kills.
10/13/01 - The girls defeated Snohomish
15-7, 9-15, 15-13 to claim the Snohomish
invite championship. The Bears served 98
percent in the 6-match tournament.
