Hello, this is me...

I decided to do a home page about myself because, well, my neice has done one and it looked like fun. I'm still trying to figure this web thing out, and it's getting there. I hope you enjoy this page, but remember it is just for fun.

I live in Independence, Missouri with my 2 cats, my lizard, and my fish tanks. I'm thinking about adding another lizard to the bunch.

We will start out with my lizard. His name is Bubba Jackson and he is a Bearded Dragon He is really pretty cool, and very unique looking. He eats crickets and romaine lettuce and seems to enjoy himself. If you ever get one of these lizards, be advised that you should handle them a lot, otherwise they will be squirmey and won't want you to handle them. I was given some bad advice when I got Bubba. Now he doesn't like to be held very much, but we are working on that.

The Girls

These two troublemakers are my girls. Boo Kitty is the grey one, and Elsie is the black one. Elsie is the big troublemaker, but Boo has her moments. I adopted Elsie 2 years ago from a shelter so Boo would have some company. Now they really get on each other's nerves. Boo loves to lay on my clothes that I have just removed from the dryer, and Elsie loves to knock over full glasses of water. She never fails to find them. Pretty annoying. She is a beautiful girl, but she tries my patience every day.

My Buddy

This is my Boxer, his name is Toby. Toby is now 10 years old, so you can tell that this picture was taken many years ago. So far he is the best dog I have ever had. I have never met a more gentle, intelligent dog. He loves my dad and mom and my neices and nephews. What a wonderful dog he is. My facination with Boxers started at the age of nine, and for my 20th birthday my dad finally broke down and got him for me. Actually it was pretty easy, I told him we would just go look at them, and when he saw the puppies it was pretty simple to talk him into getting one for me. Toby was supposed to be the runt, but he is just the right size.

To be quite honest, I really like most kinds of dogs. I love the bigger dogs better. My sisters both have pit bull terriers, and contrary to belief, they are big old sweeties. You can see them at Kolossal K9's web page.

These ladies are the most important and influential people I have ever known. My Mom (right), my Aunt Betty(center) and my Aunt Ruby(left). I have learned a lot from each one of them.

Here is a picture of my family. This picture was taken in August 1998. I think this is one of the best pictures we have had taken.

One of my very favorite shows is "The Pretender" It is one of those shows that gives you hope that there really are good guys our there, and that they can look good too...
