Quake, a big hit by id software, this shareware version is taken from Idsoftwares homepage The shareware, is a great game... try it out... heres the downloads, they are 7 1440k files, and are just like the 7 disks if you bought the shareware... enjoy.
Afterlife, the shareware version has been released by Lucas arts, it's a whopping big 10mg zip file,
but worth the wait, here ya go...
This game, by sierra, is called Caesar 2, and is the sequel to Sierra's Caesar. Gameplay; Your aim is to build your city in the early days and succeed in the roman empire. This picture to the left shows the detailed graphics that come with the game. Start with provinces in the early days of the Roman empire and develop your capital city. The architechture of the ancient world comes to life on your screen as you build dozens of structures beautifully rendered in 3-D high resolution graphics. If you choose novice, no combat mode, you can concentrate on the economic development of one city for as long as you like. Your plebes can frolic in the Roman baths while you keep an eye out for fire, plague, crime and the occasional riot. Or, if you're a more experienced gamer you can turn on the adrenalin and master your unruly province. Defend it with fortifications, exploit resources, establish trade routes, raise armies, and listen up to the demands (promotion anyone?!) of your Emperor in Imperial Rome. Command and Conquer, warcraft II's rival, is a great game also, It combines real time stratergy with combat and interactivity, This demo is a 2 part demo, but the 2nd part is only optional and for kewl music and stuff like that, help yourself! Command and Conquer was made by Westwood, and they can be found at http://www.westwood.com.
Duke Nukem 3d, another new game, is a 3d, shoot em up sorta doom game, If you dont already have it,
here it is, Duke Nukem 3d, was made by Apogee, It is the shoot to kill sequel to the other Duke Nukem
games made by apogee. well here it is, its a 4 part demo, and you can also download the upgrade which will upgrade
version 1.1 to 1.3.
Hexen, another 3d shootem up game by id software, its set in medieval sorta style, but you might like it, so here it is;
Lemmings 3d, by Psygnosis is a great game, and you should try it, It is a 4.3 mg demo, and when uncompressing you'll need to use this command= pkunzip -d ok? well, enjoy it...
