This is just a quick web page to store my new Merlin sounds  for Baldurs Gate. They where taken from the 1981 film "Excalibur". I hope you like them. If you have any requests, changes, or comments; please feel free to email me

....I've now increased the volume on some of the quieter sounds.

Merlin Full Sounds .zip  Version 1.1 (4.2 MB)  ...contains 23 x 16-bit, 22hz .wav files plus a README file.

I've also broken up this rather large .zip file into 4 smaller ones to help improve downloading......

Portrait

I've also got 2 portraits for merlin in their correct size and format in a .zip file below. The main image was taken from  Areti's Baldurs Gate Portraits  website. I've simply reformatted it. Here they are....

Rare 1          = "Oh that plan is well known! You'll have to do better than that"

Rare 2          = "Its a lonely way, you know, the way of the Necromancer, yes. To know to much.........."

Rare 3          = "Good and evil, there never is one without the other"

Rare 4          = "When a man lies he murders some part of the world...you should know that"

Reaction to Party Member Death = "Remember. There's always something cleverer than yourself!"

Some of the lines I wanted to use had too much background noise and sounded wrong when played in the game which was unfortunate :(  These ones work really well though, don't ya think?! :¬).
