For over twenty years, I have assisted people in changing their lives. In fact, I have had to overcome awesome obstacles in my personal life. At age six months, I was diagnosed with polio, and consequently endured seven excruciating operations. At age three, I was abandoned in the hospital and later adopted. During those days, child abuse wasn't heard of, however I suffered emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Over the years, I perservered, educated myself, became a minister and began living the American Dream.
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with post polio syndrome. This backlash from polio ended a very active and fulfilling career. Can you imagine being in the prime of your life and suddenly loosing the ability to walk, or even get out of the bed to use the facilities? The depression that resulted added insult to injury and I closed myself off from the world. During this time, I remembered how I rose above adversity as a young man, and decided to reinvent myself once again. I knew that I still wanted to reach and help people achieve their goals, but how?
In 1992, I bought my first PC and became a Computer BBS Sysop on FidoNet. It didn't take long to see the potential value of this medium. While I was only able to physically help a limited number of people in the pastorate; this medium provided unlimited coverage. In 1995, I moved to the Internet and here we are. From my comfortable home in Florida, I am able to touch lives around the world.
