What is the SPUM?
Well, first, what is a micronation?
A micronation, microstate, ephemeral state, or unrecognized nation is a nation which is
unrecognized by macronations (like America or England).
They are created by usual, normal people who either do not agree with their native
macronations or wish to have a fun hobby. They are as real as any other
nation, yet unaccepted by the United Nations and European Union.
Now to answer the question of what the Splendid Micro-Union of Microstatia is.
Microstatia is one word We have come up with for the Micrworld or Micronational
Community, to which all micronations belong.
The Splendid Micro-Union of Microstatia is an effort to unite Microstatia (the
micronational community).
The goals will be to gather every micronation, no matter how old or young and no matter
what form of government it is.
All micronations can join, but so can individual micronationalists, and micronation

the Establishment of a New Micronational Organization (CENMO) , etc.,
etc.).
It is free of charge to join. The jurisdiction of majority vote is final. All members must
obey the vote. One of its goals is to establish a single official language for all
micronations.
We suggest all micronations join this organization, the SPUM. So, join now!!! We will
bring microstatia to the future and help to insure all aspects of micronationalism will
continue forever.
We will not fall into disuse and death. The SPUM will always be active.

To join now, send an e-mail to the Secretary-General which says Your
micronation's/micronation group's/individual person's/macronation's name, web page,
e-mail, postal address, and representative. You must take an oath also:
"We (name of applicant) will follow and obey the Treaty of SPUM and Parchment of
Microstatia." (In either English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Latin, Italian, Mandarin,
German, Willish, Talossan, Babel, Russian, Polish, Welsh, Irish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic,
Reunian or Triparian.
Also, it is requested that the legislature (or law authority) of your micronation ratify the
Treaty of SPUM, and Parchment of Microstatia. Please read both of these documents.
You will be looked over then it will be chosen whether You're in or not. You will be on
the page within a month. The Regulor may overrule your membership, however. Also, if
the Secretary-General does not contact you within two weeks, contact the Deputy Secretary-General .
