Archon Ultra
Archon Ultra is a game of strategy and arcade skill created by the geniuses at Freefall Associates. Like chess, you move your peices around a square board. Unlike chess, once you get there you have to fight it out with your opponant's peice to get control of the square! You play an Archon, master of all you survey. Unfortunately, your opponant from another dimension is mater of all they survey... and they want your power.
Based on the orignal game Archon (also by Freefall) Archon Ultra features a few new neat options, including modem playability! If you've got Archon and are in the New York area and want give a try at playing me by modem, send me mail! I prefer playing as the dark side, but I'll play either side if we can alternate.
Also, if you happen to have a copy of the (now ancient) sequel to Archon, "Adept," for the IBM or Commodore 64, pleaes let me know! I'm interested in obtaining a copy of this classic game.
