Gargoyles: the Next Generation?

If you don't already know, Gargoyles (and its sister show, Gargoyles: the Goliath Chronicles) is one of the best done cartoon shows out there today. It's got an excellent storyline, marvelous characters and a mythic backdrop to make J.R.R. Tolkien jealous. But there's something odd about the cast of voices for this animated masterpeice...

Most of them seem to be former or current actors from Star Trek shows.... As evidence, I submit:
