Napoleon's Weakness

Napoleon's weakness lie's in his inability to control the oceans and waterways makes him very vulnerable to attacks by armada. The majority of Napoleon's efforts are concentrated on land and marching into foreign countries. As a general, Napoloen had very little to do with the navy. When he became Emperor, he left the navy in the charge of Vice Admiral Pierre de Villeneuve. Napoleon had land battle expertise and he dominated that area of battle. However, his skills didn't carry over to the navy who were in very bad shape and under the leadership of an incapable Vice Admiral.
