Most, if not all of these, are real, or based on actual events..
My friends and I often discuss X-Files while in Maths, English, Science, on the phone, (while in on the phone? makes sense to me..), etc. We're all X-Philes, but all different in opinion, which makes for some interesting statements:
Day after 'The End' airs
Alex: So. Diana, or Dana?
Richard: Freak, Scully of course!
David: Gillian's so sexy, yeah all the way.
Glenn: I guess.
Alex: Fleur..?
Me: Alex.
(Silence)
Alex: I hope you don't mean me.
Me: God you're stupid! Krycek of course!
Richard: But he's a...guy, isn't he?
Alex: Richard, you obviously don't know her.
Me: Of course he's a guy! But they...*kissed*!!
Richard: When??!!
Alex: A few weeks ago. The episode after he pashed that dumb but sexy blonde chick.
Me: Ohhhh! I don't care. Mulder and Krycek are in love. And he looked highly sexy last night.
(Silence again)
Alex: Umm..
Richard: I don't look at that sort of thing.
Day after 'The Red and the Black' airs
Me: Hey Alex, did you see..!
Alex: I saw. I hate. I'm in denial.
Me: Jealous?
Reaction to me calling him "Krycek"
Alex: No...I don't *hate* him, he's a cool guy, he's just gay!
Me: Are you homophobic?
Alex: No. I just don't like people being gay.
Neighbour and mother's conversation
Mum: You know, Fleur really likes The X-Files
Trish: Oh my god, so do I! We like, like all the same things!
Mum: (sighs) You know the character named Krycek?
Trish: There's a character named Krycek?
Mum: I think that's it. Fleur has an obsession with him.
After me saying about a fanfic which is a "romance"
Ms. Strowger: A romance? That's not like you.
Me: Do you know what *sort* of romance I mean?
Ms. Sw: I don't really want to think.
Me: Mulder and Krycek..
Ms. Sw: Now why does THAT not surprise me?
Mother and kitchen person, telling neighbour the Truth
Trish: There is NO character called Krycek!
Diane: Yeah, there is. He's the youngest, you know..
Mum: How many one-armed Russians are there on this program?
Telling a joke
Me: There was this Russian..
Stewart: Was he gay and one armed?
In conversation
Me: And I always met up with this GD in netball, every year, and I remember her because she only had one arm.
Alex: Was she homosexual and Russian?
