BOUNTIFUL - Frank Brgoch, age 70, loving father and grandfather, joined his sweetheart, Ellen, in heaven on July 25, 1995. Born December 16, 1924 in Valdez, Colorado to Joe and Mary Brgoch. Married Ellen Thompson August 8, 1951. She preceded him in death August 8, 1994. His great love in life was flying airplanes. At age 16, he joined the U.S. Air Force, flying bombers in the Pacific during World War II. He received the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. After the war, he became a flight instructor for private aircraft. He then joined on with Frontier Airlines in 1950 as airline pilot. He retired after 35 years of service with them. Flying was still in his blood and he could not keep his feet on the ground. He became a flight instructor for Frontier Airlines, America West and Morris Air. His certificate encompassed 12 different aircraft with a total flying time of 32,000 hours, 25,000 hours of which he was pilot in command. When he was not flying, he loved to be oudoors hunting and fishing with his family. He had many various talents; he was a very impassioned engraver where his work appeared in several publications. He is survived by his son, Morris Frank (Sharon) Centerville; son Michael Rex (Joan), West Valley City, seven grandchildren, brother, Ludwig Brgoch, sister, Josephine Galiatin. Dad had a wonderful spirit and was a great teacher to many. "Dad, you have spread your wings for a final flight and we know it will be a perfect landing. We will miss you!" Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 1995, at 11 a.m., in the Canyon Park Chapel, 1190 E. Bountiful Hills Drive. Friends and family may call Friday evening, 7-9 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, and on Saturday at the church, and one hour prior to services.
