Director of Stations and marketing for several decades at CN & FL. 
Jim was an ex-marine who had been in the first wave of American forces to go into Nagasaki after the A-bomb blast.
He suffered his first heart attack a few years after WWII and had several others afterwards.  
Jim died under mysterious circumstances though.  
He turned up missing after a problem at work over his parking place.  
His body was found in a ravine near Denver and the autopsy was inconclusive.

Jim Shores died last month of a heart attack.
It was at least his third.
He told me once his first one was in 1947.
