The first statement you read (after a LOVELY poem) on the main page of the Perilous Times is: "The Perilous Times is disgusted by the homosexual agenda, the pagan agenda, the satanist agenda, the feminist agenda, the NWO agenda, and the mother earth agenda!!"

Categories of her site include (but are not limited to): "An Article I Wrote Exposing the Evils of Earthday", "Halloween, the most EVIL day of the Year!", "Hitler-- the Pagan!", and MY personal favorite, "Resources Exposing the Evil Truth about Paganism." Yeah! OK! That sounds beautiful coming from a CHRISTIAN woman! Things that make ya go "hmm......"

This site is maintained by a Ms. Tammy Ritchie. She seems quite popular among both the Christian and Pagan web community, though for different reasons, I hasten to add.

Her site is so full of sayings such as "Witches are evil and ignorant", and that if you do not look to Jesus than Satan is your ruler, etc. I will get more quotes from her soon, so you do not always have to visit her site directly to know what we're up against.

One of the focal points at Ms. Ritchie's site is an "Open Letter To Witches." I'd like to quote some excerpts here, and give some accurate responses for public viewing.

..."All these things you say are LIES. I know because I've looked into your religion and found it to be nothing more than Satanic worship and ritual cleverly disguised by Satan himself to decieve you..."

>>> Obviously you did not look hard enough. I really think you are confusing Wiccan witches with other occultists in all your harping. Even if what you say was true, we will not find out until we are dead. So I do not know why what I believe concerns you so, as long as you know where you stand.

She then goes on and on to ask that if we are such mighty, powerful witches, than why do we not use it for good? Why aren't we getting winning lottery tickets every week? Why aren't we going to hospitals and healing the sick? Etc.

>>> Well, because for one thing, I've NEVER heard of a witch bragging about being able to perform such great feats, for one thing! For another, magick is channeling energy. Something that takes literally YEARS to develop. Again, you are stuck on society's old ideas of what a witch is supposed to be. In life there is good and bad. Who are we to step in and interfere with the divine plan?

..."Believe in the demon you call "Mother Earth" or "Mother Nature" or "The Goddess." All different names for a demon of Satan who wears the mask of a goddess."

Yet another Open Letter to Witches appears on her site. This one is from a "Dr. Morey."

"Many of those who use magick are sick all the time. They go through multiple marriages. They have money problems. Their cars get flat tires...."

Who ever said that witches weren't human?

"Even more seriously, they cannot beat their own drug or sex addiction..."

Who the heck are you talking about, guy?!?

"If magick worked, witches would be picking up the winning lottery numbers every week."

There's that Christian/money connection again..... A Wiccan's magick, to ME personally, is something NATURAL. That means the nagick of life and love and the saesons, etc... The love I share with my boyfriend is magick, to me! The fall leaves glittering in the sunlight is magick to me!

"To say 'everything is relative' and 'there is no evil' and then turn around and say Christianity is 'evil' is contradictory."

Never said there wasn't evil. It's just part of the relativity! *grin* I've never called Christianity evil, nor has any Wiccan I've known. It's the negativity you feel against me just for my beliefs that is what I feel is an evil thing.
