I am of Cherokee and British heritage and very proud of it. Both sets of great-grandparents were full blooded, but in looks, I favor the British. The Cherokee is where I think my temper and strong sense of justice comes from. The British side gives me my love of tea and all things quite "proper".

For employment, I worked for a time in a jail as a Correctional Officer. It can be stressful but rewarding as well. I turned one young man's life around, so I guess I didn't fail. That may have been my purpose for being there. But I left the profession due to the stress. I am now employed at a DVD making plant. It's interesting.!

My interests include travel (espeically to the Carib), camping, fishing, doing crafts, reading, collecting teddy bears and of course, meeting friends in life and on line.

I am happily single and live with and care for my mother. I have one sister, Donna and her husband Roger, one brother, Rick, one nephew, Eric, one niece, Ashley and her husband, Nate,two step-nephews, Eddie and Roger. I also have a great niece or nephew due Nov.19! (child of Eric)!!! It was a girl, Hayley Marie, and was born November 14, 2001. The latest addition to our family is Aidan Leonard.. Ashely and Nate's son, born April 17, 2005. He is so special to us for many reasons. The doctors said she'd never carry him full term. It was Impossible. Yet here he is today, nearly a year old, our miracle baby boy. He was also named after my dad Leonard. I am very close to all my family even though we live 6 hours apart. I love them all dearly

I love animals of all kinds especially cats..so please be kind to them. Have them spayed or nuetered. They give us the most unconditional love of all next to God's love!!. My Kitty, Pooter, is the joy of my life!!!!
