Welcome to my geneological homepage. As the name implies, this page is the starting point for links that will guide you through the past, back through the generations of my family's history. We will take a look at that history as the lives, loves, triumphs and tragedies of my ancestors unfold before you. We will see the faces of some, and hear stories of others. I hope you will enjoy this journey through the mists of bygone days.
I originally started searching for my ancestry for the purpose of putting the history of my ancestors into book form, and presenting a copy to each of my two sons on the day they start families of their own, their wedding day. However, in life, things don't always go as we plan. On March 28, 1997 I lost my youngest son, Michael Paul "Mickey" Bristow, in an automobile accident. So, as I start this project, on the first anniversary of his untimely death, I dedicate this family oriented website to his memory. We were blessed to have Mickey with us for 15 years, 6 months and 17 days. We will cherish the memory of those wonderful years and miss him dearly for as long as we remain on this Earth.
