THE JOHN HIRD (DUPONT FLOORING) PARTY

A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO JIM SHAFFER AND HIS
KICK-BUTT WHITE MARLIN!

Eddie Edwards of Rockville, MD., hooks up with a Yellowfin Tuna

Jim Shaffer jumps in the chair. It's a White Marlin! They watched it move back and forth as it checked out the lures, opting for the cedar plugs. Whizzzzzzzzzz! Fish on! And man, what a fish! It gave a terrific display, jumping and twisting, over and over, trying to shake the hook.

GET 'ER, JIM!

What an incredible fish! This is like hitting a grand-slam!

Oh! Wish this had been the White Marlin Open! Jim, you had a contender!

The Tunas caught, averaged 35 lbs.

WHAT A GREAT DAY FISHING!
Many thanks to John Hird of Dupont Flooring for booking this trip. They caught 3 Yellowfin, one White Marlin, and had another White Marlin on that cut the leader with his bill. Which one of you caught the Yellowfin by the tail? Now that, I'd like to see a picture of!

Hey fellow anglers,
What a great and impressive service you supplied on Friday. I have to admit "Last$Charters" exceeded all expectations, of not just mine, but our entire group agreed. You have done a wonderful job on the website, as well. I will do my best to get the tail hooked picture that I just got back from OneHour scanned and forwarded to you. It is pretty obvious that Big Green had that Tuna by the tail. What a day full of fishing stories of the best kind - the true ones!!
I would like to look into getting a fiberglass replica of the Marlin and was wondering if you have some information of where I can get this done. As well as, I need for Rick or Jack to supply me with their best accurate calculation of the length (with the bill included or without the bill included), along with the girth and approximate weight.
Any other information would be appreciated. Thanks once again for the wonderful welcome to the East Coast and I hope to give it another try in the near future. You have given me a totally new perspective on fishing, which I will add too my fresh water experiences. Isn't fishing the best kept secret!!
Thanks again and toast a drink from time to time for the great "White Marlin"

I know I will. Good Fishin'!!

Jim Shaffer - One Happy Customer

THANKS JIM! YOU DA MAN!
