16 March 1668/69

For confirmation of a piece of land, William Taylor sued Bartholomew Meers, who claimed Taylor's piece was more than half the patent granted to Taylor and Meers. Therefore, Meers did not want to confirm the conveyance. Taylor said that meers had chosed the land that was lesser in quantity, but of better quality and worth more: witnesses confirmed that was why the conveyance was made to Taylor. Ordered that the conveyance be made by Bartholomew Meers to William Taylor for 300 acres, with Meers paying court costs. (p.11)
