LaVonne Boruk was born and raised in the NE corner of Louisiana.

She is married, (recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary) and has three adult sons and one granddaughter. LaVonne lived in many different places until she finally settled in South Carolina when her husband retired from the military.

LaVonne is the author of many poems and short stories, and is currently working on a novel, which she hopes to have published.
