The Lowell Lock Monsters recieved 3 players from the parent New York Islanders on Monday. Coming to Lowell are John Namestinikov, Dmitir Nabokov and Vladimir Orszagh.
The Monsters released former UMass-Lowell player Shannon Bassaraba and goaltender Kory Cooper. The team also re-assingned J.C. Ruid, Jason Dailey and Chris Wismer to Roanoke of the East Coast Hockey League.
