The Lock Monsters dropped the final game of their exhibition schedule, 3-2 in overtime, to Adirondack in an AHL preseason matchup at Adirondack last night.

The two teams traded goals in the first period and then went scoreless until the overtime period.

Lowell's Dmitri Nabakov tied the game at 4:04 of the first period on a feed from Ray Giroux.

Seven minutes later, John Namestnikov put Lowell ahead 2-1, with assists credited to Dane Jackson and Sean Haggerty.

Adirondack scored the game-winner just 26 seconds into the overtime period.

Lock Monster goalie Marcel Cousineau made 22 saves.
