"My answer is-. Is-." Lindsay continued.

"Is-" Nick said.

"-.Is-. Yes!" Lindsay finally broke out.

"Cool!" Nick said. "I have been waiting so long to ask you that and I finally got it out."

"Really?" Lindsay asked Nick.

"Really," Nick said back. "I liked you the whole time and I always wanted to ask you out and I was just afraid to say something, but finally, ever since the day that we were about to kiss, I started to feel more confident about asking you to go to the movies."

"Cool, I feel the same way, like, I have liked you too and I was afraid to say anything."

"Wow! That's pretty cool."

"Yeah, it really is," Lindsay said.

"Well, I gotta go, Nick informed Lindsay. "Let's talk more about it tomorrow."

"Okay, I'll see ya tomorrow," she said to Nick.

"Bye,"

"Buh Bye!"

Linds put the phone back on its receiver. She couldn't believe what just happened there. Oh my gosh! I was just talking to Nick and he had just asked me out. What will I wear? What am I going to say?

Suddenly the phone rang. It was Mackie.

"Hi, Mackie," Lindsay said.

"Hey, Linds."

"So is anything new?" she asked Linds.

"Is anything new? Boy, I need to fill you on a lot of stuff here," Lindsay said.

"Details, I need details here. Please fill me in," Mackie said.

"Okay, okay, Mackie, calm down! You're not the one who should be freaking here. If anyone should be freaking, it's me. Okay, here's my story. Nick called me and he asked me something."

"He asked you out!" Mackie shrieked.

"Yep,"

"Oh, my gosh, really?"

"Yes, really," Linday said.

"So when and where are you going?"

"We never decided. All we decided on was to go to the movies, but we haven't decided on which one. Nick said that we were gonna talk more about it tomorrow."

"Sounds pretty good to me," Mackie said.

Suddenly Lindsay's mom called her from downstairs and asked her to help her with the chores.

"Be right there," Lindsay replied to her mom.

"Okay, Mackie, I gotta go. My mom just asked me to help her with the chores."

"Okay, bye!"

"Buh Bye," Lindsay said to Mackie.

For the rest of the day Lindsay helped out her mom at home. The next day, while sitting with Mackie and Nicole, Alyssa and two other friends of hers, Kerri and Candice, at lunch, Lindsay spotted Nick coming her way.

"Oh, my god you guys," Lindsay said to all her friends "Look who it is."

"Oh. It's Nick," Alyssa said sarcastically.

"Oh, shut up, Alyssa," Kerri says trying to back up Lindsay. "You know how much Lindsay has been dying to go out with Nick. Give her a break for once."

"Okay, for once I will let Lindsay have her fun," Alyssa said.

"Thank you!" Lindsay replied.

Nick had finally approached Lindsay. "Hey, Linds," he said.

"Oh, hey Nick. Wuz up?" Lindsay asked.

"I was wondering if we can talk."

"Sure, that's no problem," Linds said and got up. "So, where do you wanna go?" she asked.

"We can just go by the wall," he said.

"Okay," she agreed following Nick.

While they were standing by the wall, they had decided that we would go to the movies tomorrow night and see Titanic at 7:00 P.M.

"I'll see ya tomorrow night, then," Nick said.

"Can't wait," Lindsay replied back. "Bye!"

"Bye," Nick said.

As soon as she knew it, it was the next day and Linds was deciding on what to wear. Finally, she decided an hour before Nick was supposed to pick her up that she was gonna wear her blue, green and white spaghetti stripes shirt with her jeans with the blue stripe down the side. Pretty good outfit, Lindsay thought to herself. Okay, now I only got an hour left and I must pick out everything to be perfect. I only got half an hour left. I better hurry. Nick will be here pretty soon. So, Lindsay decided to finish getting dressed. She still had her make-up and hair to do. Finally, at the end, Lindsay wore the outfit she had decided to wear and she chose to wear her hair down with the make-up she usually wears.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Lindsay ran to get it.

"Hi, Nick," Lindsay said.

"Hey, so, are you ready yet?" Nick asked.

"Yes, I am," she said.

"Okay, good because I think that we may be late for the movie. So, we better run." Nick informed her.

"Cool," Lindsay said.

They left for the movie. Nick drove Lindsay to the theater in his Red Porsche. When they got to the movie, they decided to take seats in the back rows, that way they can talk and watch the movie without anyone else telling them what to do.

About a half-hour into the movie Nick started to ask Lindsay something. "So, are you enjoying the movie?"

"Yeah, you made a good choice," Lindsay said.

"Thank you," Nick said.

"Ya know what," I said.

"No, what?" Nick asked.

"I'm getting kinda thirsty and hungry so I am gonna go and get a coke and some popcorn. Would you like any?" Lindsay asked.

"No, you can sit here and I'll go get it."

"Thanx, but I feel like getting up. I really don't mind." Lindsay told Nick

"Sure, just get a large coke and a large popcorn with whatever you want on it," he said and handed Lindsay some money. "Come back soon."

"I will," I told him.

Lindsay got up and went to get the coke and popcorn. She walked towards the door, flung it open and walked up to the snack stand.

"Large coke and a large popcorn with extra butter, please."

"Sure, no problem," said the cashier.

"Thanx," Lindsay replied.

The cashier went to get what Lindsay had ordered and all of a sudden Lindsay sees Ryan coming out of the same theater.

"Hi, Lindsay," Ryan said.

"Oh, Hi, Ryan," Lindsay replied. "How come you're here?"

"Oh, I just came here with Michelle." Michelle was this girl that was dying to go out with Ryan and he never liked her back, but he was using Michelle to get back at Lindsay because Ryan knew that Lindsay was going out with Nick from school gossip. Lindsay never liked Michelle because she was a real slut, but itdidn't really bother Lindsay that Ryan was going out with Michelle, Ryan thought it would, but Lindsay never fell into his little trap!

"Having fun?" Lindsay asked.

"Yep," Ryan said.

"Cool!"

"So, what about you?" Ryan asked and started to get closer to Lindsay

"What about me?"

Suddenly, someone came up behind Lindsay.

"So, what are you doing?" Nick asked.

"What do u mean? I am just talking with Ryan." Lindsay said innocently.

"Yeah, right," Nick said. "I saw how close you two were getting."

"I was no-." Lindsay said, but Nick cut her off.

"Spare me, please." Nick said and walked out of the movies.
