Please don't let there be a disturbance, Nick said to himself.

They both started to lean closer and closer and finally got the kiss that they had been yearning to have for awhile.

"I guess that kiss was worth enough to wait for," Nick said.

Lindsay smiled and then they both leaned in and kissed again.

After that kiss, Lindsay looked at the clock and said, "Oh, my gosh, Nick. I gotta go. I'm sorry. If I don't go I may get killed by my parents I am already 15 minutes late, I'll see ya tomorrow, okay?"

"Yeah, that's cool with me. Okay, you better go. Are you busy this Saturday?" Nick asked Lindsay.

"Um. I don't think so, I'll have to check on that one." Lindsay explained.

"Okay, then I will call you and ask you. See, the band and I have a gig at a night club in town and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me and the band."

"I'll check."

"Okay," Nick agreed.

"See ya later. Buh bye!"

"Bye, Linds!"

After Lindsay went inside her house, Nick pulled out of Lindsay's driveway and rode home.

The next day, the band was practicing for the night club gig.

"I'll be right back, you guys. I gotta go get something. Hang on." Nick said to the rest of the members.

"Okay, but come back soon," A.J. said, "We really need to practice for this gig, we don't have much time ya know."

"Yeah, I know I'll just be 10 minutes." Nick replied.

Just as he was starting to leave to go upstairs, Brian yelled to him, "Hey, Nick, whatcha gonna make a call to Linds now??"

"Maybe yes, and maybe no." Nick replied.

"Oh, yeah right. That's the only reason you're going up there, Nick, and you know it." Kevin said.

"Fine, yes I am going upstairs to call Lindsay, but none of you are to come up and listen, you got me??"

"Yes, Nick, we got ya," A.J. said, " We're not going to go upstairs and listen in on your conversation. We respect your privacy."

"Thanx," Nick said and ran upstairs.

He dialed Lindsay's numbers and said, "Hey, babe, wuz up??"

"Oh, hey sweet stuff!! Nothing much here. Whatcha up to right now??" She asked him.

"Well, I just wanna know if you'd like to come and watch the band practice, so, would you??"

"Sure, I'd love to. Be over in five minutes." Lindsay agreed.

"I'm looking forward to it," Nick said and clicked down the phone and went downstairs to practice.

"So, what happened with Lindsay?" Brian greeted Nick.

"Well," Nick started, "Lindsay is gonna come over and watch us practice."

"Sounds like some fun she'll have, just sitting here and watching an idiot practice," A.J. teased Nick.

"Ha ha, very funny, Bone." Nick said.

"Hey, Nick you better shut up, she's coming this way."

"Hey," Linds said, "Wut up??"

"Oh, nothing much, we were just getting ready to play, sit down over there," Nick said while pointing to the couch in the garage.

"Okay," Linds agreed and sat down.

"Ready, guys?" Nick asked.

"Let's do it," Kevin said and they started to sing As Long As You Love Me.

After practice was over Lindsay congratulated them. "Wow! You guys are so awesome."

"Thanxs," all five of them said at the same time.

"Well, Brian, A.J., Kevin, and I all need to go do something so, we'll catch the two of you later." Howie said. He was basically trying to tell Nick and Lindsay that they could have some time alone because he felt bad about the time that Nick and Linds were about to kiss and they accidently got caught by Howie.

"Thanx, Howie," Nick said, he knew what Howie was trying to say.

"C ya guys later," Lindsay said to the four of them.

"Bye." They all replied.

"So, finally, we get to be alone." Nick said.

"I guess we do," Lindsay said while Nick was walking over to her.

"So, how is it having your boyfriend in a band?" Nick asked her.

"You consider yourself as my boyfriend?" Lindsay asked.

"Yes," Nick said with a shy expression on his face. "I'm sorry if you think I am moving too fast, I just like you a lot."

"Oh, no, it's okay. I want to be considered as your girlfriend. I think you're a wonderful guy."

"I think you're sweet," Nick commented and then he gave Lindsay a sweet kiss.

After the kiss he asked her "What are your plans for tonight?"

"Well, I have to baby-sit. Why?"

"I was hoping that you could stay over for a while tonight."

"No can do tonight, maybe another night. But would you like to help me baby-sit?" Lindsay asked.

"Sure, what time."

"Seven o'clock!"

"Cool, I'll pick you up then."

"Okay! Hey Nick, I gotta go now. See you later."

"C ya!"
